Interim Dallas police Chief Michael Igo on Tuesday fired a Dallas police officer who’d been arrested on an aggravated sexual assault of a child charge, department officials announced.
Officer Brennon Wilkinson, 28, was jailed in September on the sexual assault charge and two counts of indecency with a child. His attorney, Tim Powers, has said the allegations stemmed from an incident in Little Elm when Wilkinson was 18 years old and was back home from military service for Christmas.
