Dallas police say they are investigating a homicide after a man’s body was discovered in the backseat of a towed vehicle in the Stemmons Corridor. Police said an investigation is ongoing and the man’s identity will be determined by the Dallas County medical examiner’s office.
Detectives responded to a call Thursday in the 4000 block of Halifax Street, near Cash Road, where the body was found behind the vehicle’s driver’s seat.
An investigation found the man had been shot and the car had been towed from an apartment complex in the 10000 block of Walnut Hill Lane, police said.
