Suspect’s wife witnessed fatal shooting at Irving Chick-fil-A, report says

A man police believe fatally shot two people Wednesday inside a Chick-fil-A in Irving has been arrested, according to officials.

Oved Bernardo Mendoza Argueta, 37, was booked shortly after 3 a.m. Thursday into the Irving jail, records show. He faces a capital murder of multiple persons charge. A bond had not yet been set, but an immigration hold was also listed in his charges. It was unclear whether he had an attorney.
