On March 6, 2025, the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Highway 90 Dayton, Texas. They found approximately 40 kilograms of cocaine with an approximate value of $1,077,823 located inside the vehicle of 24-year-old Jorge Martinez Garcia.
A K9 arrived on scene and alerted officers to the presence of narcotics. During a search of the interior of the vehicle, authorities located the substance.
JORGE MARTINEZ is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
The legal process that the accused will face is unknown, since the Drug Enforcement Administration is in charge of the investigation of this case.
